PAST SHOWS

The ASAP (Apparel Sourcing Association Pavilion) Global Sourcing Show debuted in February 2002 and is going into its 14th show this coming August at the Venetian Marco Polo Ballroom, the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV, USA. It has grown tremendously over the years and is now widely regarded as the authority in international apparel sourcing tradeshows.

Traditionally, buyers had to rely on agents or travel overseas for weeks at a time in order to locate factories to produce their goods. The ASAP Global Sourcing Show was envisioned to ease the search to locate these hard to find overseas apparel factories by bringing them to one place…fabulous Las Vegas. The first show at the Mirage Hotel, showcasing Asian countries such as Taiwan, Philippines, China and Hong Kong was an astounding success. The quick international recognition and professional organization of the show, led to such a rapid growth that soon it outgrew exhibit space at the Mirage and had to be moved to Las Vegas Hilton and after six editions to its current location, the Venetian Hotel. Today, ASAP occupies nearly 50,000 square feet of exhibit space and attracts the top 5% full-package, overseas apparel manufacturers from Asia, Africa, Europe, Central and South America. Thousands of buyers and sellers of men’s, women’s and children’s apparel and accessories attend the show, as well as attend our high-caliber Educational Seminars with world-renowned speakers and participate in our unique Match Making Sessions.

In 2005 we added our ASAP Buying Trips. ASAP takes U.S. and European buyers to Asia. The buying trips are very effective to locate the apparel and textile sources, visit the factories, and finding joint venture partners. www.asapbuyingtrip.com

In 2006 we organized the Fashion International Trade Show (FITS) - A Brand Licensing Show twice a year which is designed for international fashion brands to enter the fastest growing consumer market in the world- China. www.fashionforchina.com
