About the founder: Raised in a family of textile, Grandfather sold fabric and Father a fine tailor till this day was inspired to create his own line. Started in New York in 1978, manufactured and sold to the top boutiques through early 80's. Zion visited southern California and saw great potential to start producing high fashion in Los Angeles.

Zion wanted to create a line with a unique style. American Twist became recognized for its individual style. Designing t-shirts, tops, sweaters, dresses, jean jackets, jeans and more. American Twist is now carried nationwide and is currently increasing in foreign countries such as Canada, Europe, Australia, Southern America and more.

We are focusing on expanding in e-commerce. Los Angeles and free spirited Southern California life style continues to inspire company's style and potential to keep growing.
