Exhibiting Tips
In order to have a successful experience at the ASAP Show, many exhibitors do not realize that the exhibiting process starts at least a month before the show as well as during. Below are a few important tips to exhibiting success!

Tip #1: Set appointments to solidify sales.
76% of buyers come to the show with an agenda ready to do business. Schedule your calendar now to efficiently manage serious buyers looking to place orders. This will also assist with allocating time to developing new contacts.

Tip #2: Advertise to enhance your visibility.
Target your audience by placing ads in industry-related pre-show trades, news dailies, magazines, and the Internet. 83% of attendees use pre-show publications to help plan their visit.

Tip #3: Promote your brand on-site.
Sponsorship opportunities let you use the success and influence of ASAP to position your name at the forefront of the minds of your buyers. Put your image in front of tens of thousands of buyers - in dozens of different ways. For further information, please refer to the Sponsorship & Advertising section.

Tip #4: Create original booth displays.
Creating an original booth display will differentiate yourself from the many other manufacturers who might be selling the same product. A few factors that affect buyer’s decisions to stop at your booth are the exhibit size and creative/effective display.

Tip #5: Prepare your booth personnel for success.
With so many qualified buyers attending ASAP, it is very important to staff your booth with friendly salespeople who are well-educated on your company’s capabilities and achievements. This empowers your staff with the knowledge necessary to capitalize on potential sales and to write orders. 85% of results are with interactions with the booth staff.

Tip#6: Follow-up on sales leads.
Develop a plan now to be implemented post-ASAP. Contact the valuable prospects you collected at the show. Don’t let leads get "lukewarm."

Obtaining a US Visa
Here are some tips:

• Apply Early at the US Embassy or Consulate Visa Office. We recommend at least 90 days prior to your trip.

• Provide the appropriate documents to the Embassy if you are given a personal interview. We urge you to bring the following documentation to ease the visa interview process: 1) Business License 2) Receipt of the Booth Payment 3) Bank Account with proof of substantial assets 4) Ownership of any real estate 5) Family registration certificate 6) Employment agreement and pay stubs 7) any previous proof of business transaction with the U.S. 8) Travel Itinerary for this trip 9) other documents that prove you will return home after the tradeshow.

• The ASAP invitation letter will confirm your participation and received payment. This letter will include your full name, company name and address, booth number, date of birth, passport number, date of issue and expiration, and date of visa interview. (Invitation Letters will not be issued until deposits are made. Money back guarantee if US visa is not granted 30 days before the show starts.)

• The most common grounds for ineligibility of a US visa are that the applicant has failed to show compelling ties to his or her own country that they will return to their country of origin after the trade show. Proof of family ties or industry-related business in your country may help.

• During the interview, try to be relaxed and understand the consul's questions carefully then answer them straight to the point. Sometimes it helps if you show them family pictures or a round-trip ticket.
